New Zealand Wool Carpet

An enduring solution
for considered interiors.

An Introduction

A floor begins
in a field.

Fieldmark is a single, traceable line — from New Zealand pasture to American loom — built around the conviction that the most enduring materials are also the most honestly made.

We source New Zealand strong wool, scoured in New Zealand, spun in the United Kingdom, and woven into finished carpet in America. There are no white-label intermediaries, no obscured origins, no compromises on welfare, ethics, or environment. What you specify is what was carried, fibre by fibre, from the paddock to the loom.

Provenance

The chain,
not the claim.

1 New Zealand Strong wool from family farms, grown under the animal welfare and environmental regulations that govern all New Zealand farming.
2 New Zealand Scoured before the fibre leaves the country.
3 United Kingdom Spun to our specification by long-established commission spinners.
4 United States Woven into finished carpet at a long-established American mill.

Farm Footing Programme

The programme behind
the first link.

The chain is only as good as its first step. The Farm Footing Programme is how Fieldmark formalises that step — the framework for identifying the growers who supply our wool, and for setting the standards their fibre is measured against.

01

Animal husbandry

How the flock is managed and handled across the season, and the welfare standards a grower works to.

02

Environmental stewardship

How the land is held — protecting waterways and biodiversity whilst enhancing the land as a legacy for the future.

03

Fibre production

Breeding, growing, preparation and consistency at point of clip, measured against what our constructions require.

Where the programme stands

Farm Footing is in development. It is the framework we are building toward third-party-auditable provenance — not a completed audit, and we will not describe it as one until it is.

What is true today is the chain above: known at every stage, short enough to describe in full, and sitting within New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the United States. The programme’s work is to make the first link as specific as the rest of it.

Our Legacy of Care

Rooted in doing
what is right.

Our products are built on a commitment to the people behind them, the long-term well-being of the animals in our supply, and the land that produces our fibre. This is a legacy of doing what is right — not what is easy.

The Material

Exquisite carpets begin with
exceptional natural wool.

Strong wool is a millennia-engineered fibre. Decades of selective breeding by New Zealand farmers have fine-tuned it for the demands of American commercial and residential interiors — superior durability, lasting appearance, and quiet performance underfoot.

The Fieldmark Difference

Enduring quality
you can depend on.

A commitment
to what is right.

Founding principal Andrew Haldane comes from four generations of New Zealand farming — and a steadfast commitment to enduring value for every stakeholder along the chain.

A supply chain
without seams.

Fieldmark stays involved at every stage — fibre selection, scouring, spinning, weaving, and delivery to the American client. End-to-end involvement is what allows us to truly verify what we promise.

Expertly crafted,
woven in America.

Only the highest-quality wool — selected for whiteness, crimp, length, micron, and consistency — is woven into Fieldmark carpet at our partner mills in the United States.

Bespoke

Limited only by
your imagination.

Wire Wilton, Axminster, and our proprietary Karaloc weave each open a different door: intricate organic motifs, bold geometric repeats, multi-tonal textured fields. Specifiers brief the concept; our experts return digital samples; final designs go to loom.
